General Education Requirements

Undergraduate Studies General Education Requirements: Students must satisfy the University and College General Education requirements. Courses in chemistry may be used to fulfill the University's Mathematics and Life/Natural Sciences Knowledge requirement, as well as requirements in the Communicating and Managing Information skill areas. B.A. degree candidates must fulfill the college foreign language requirement.

Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory Restrictions Chemistry majors may not take required chemistry, mathematics, or physics courses on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis, nor may B.S. degree candidates take the six elective hours in science on this option
